Club baseball got off to a very cold and slow start on Saturday. We won both of our games against Wisconsin-Madison by 1 run each. The high was around 35 and the wind chill had to have been around 20 or so with winds around 20 mph.

Needless to say, both teams' hitting didn't come alive in the opener of the 4 game set. Although, I equaled by extra base hit total from last year (1) with a ground rule double. I don't think I've ever had a ground rule double before now that I think about it ...

All in all, I had a good day: 1-2, walk, double, 2 RBI. Hopefully I can keep that going tomorrow, and we can finish out the weekend with a sweep.
