For some reason, I always think that 'this year is the year.' Maybe I've hung around Urban too much in April as he always says that about the Cubs. I just hate the NCAA tournament after the first day because I do horrible in it every year. Maybe I should see if there is a class offered at UNL that can help me fill out my brackets next year.

I really didn't do so hot in the first round. You can see this as I'm in dead last place in the basketball tournament that we are doing here at the 436 (thanks many times over to Ben for keeping us all posted on how horrible I'm doing!).

I felt I would pick a bunch of upsets again this year, and it just happened that none of them took place in the first round, while all the favorites that I picked lost (yeah, even Kansas, but thank goodness I have Pitt later on). I was going through the 8 games today, and I didn't have a single game with both of the teams picked correctly.

Not sure if anyone else has these problems on day 3 of 'the madness', but I seem to have it every single year. Maybe I'll go off to the rec or somethin' and see if McCray's shooting around and tryin' to find a new fit for next year. I guess that'll keep me happier than actually watching these games.
