Big game tonight

26 March 2006
The 'Nova vs. Florida match up tonight doesn't seem too be a huge headline game to get into the Final Four, but it has huge implications for me. If 'Nova wins, I will lock 2nd place finish for the 436 Basketball Pool Challenge. I had a couple of outs, but Texas blew the other ones for me in OT last night.

In other news, we spent forever brainstorming last night for a senior design project that we will complete next year. We came up with ideas such as: LCD game boards to play against a cpu (to show cpu's moves on the board), an automated bus tracking system (to show where a current bus is on campus, and show how long it will take to get to the next stop), an automated bartender system that spins your glass around and fills it with the correct shots that you want ...

We finally came up with an automated bellboy/bellhop robot. This way you can place the luggage on top of the robot, and it will automatically drive your luggage to the room that you are staying in. It sounds great, and hopefully we can implement it. If there are any other ideas out there for something that will use both software and hardware, we are certainly up for other suggestions.
