A bunch of things
26 June 2006
This was my first experience to NFM. My parents are regular customers, but the only time I was there was to pick up an order at one of the warehouses. Needless to say, and those who have been know this, the place is massive. It's seriously big. Good thing this place has a good reputation because the prices there were amazing. First we started out and found a nice bedroom set downstairs. It was a floor model, so we got it at a discount. I would post a picture, but the company that we bought it from has one of the worst web sites that I've ever seen. So .... no picture.
Then we went back upstairs and started to pick out a dining room table. We saw a very nice black one with a leaf in the middle, and then I spotted an AMAZING glass one for only 30 dollars more. It had the same number of chairs, was a bigger table, and was really modern. The only bad thing was that the table was actually too large for the space in the townhome, so we went with the black one. The only thing left was to pick out a couple of sofas that we liked for the living room. I remembered seeing some cool black synthetic leather ones as we made our way over to the dining room tables. About an hour later debating on the accessories that we wanted, we decided to get the sofa and love seat. [picture]
We didn't like the table and lamps that came with it, so we used the money for that set, and put it towards a really cool coffee table that we both liked. [picture]
Once that was all done with, I came home and went to play baseball. I kept my hitting streak alive (a hit in all 12 games i've played in). That's right, only 44 more until I reach DiMaggio. The game went well, and we are on pace to make it to Haymarket. I would be super excited right now because I have a chance at making the championship game there as well as an outside chance at the all-star game. The only reason that I'm a little disappointed is because I cracked my bat during my last game. Hopefully the streak will continue with a new one. [picture]
