I've got a burnt orange ticket
23 September 2010
Another year of
going streaking. One of these year's, the streak will probably come to an end. It will be easier to see games now that the Huskers are moving to the Big Ten and I'll do my best to keep it going as long as I can. A month or two ago, my dad called and asked if I wanted to fly back to Nebraska for the Texas game, "Brian, let me know if you want to fly in for the Texas game and use my ticket. Tell Christi we love her to death, but one ticket is tough enough to find for this game." He's going down to a trucking convention with gma, and mom didn't want to miss the game (while dad and gma really couldn't miss the opening day of the conference), so I'm flying home to be mom's date for the weekend.
I'm flying in on Friday, watching the game on Saturday, then flying back on Sunday. So if you're in downtown Lincoln on October 16th, shoot me a text and we can try to meet up for a pregame tailgate. If that doesn't work out, Christi and I will be back in town for the Colorado game the day after Thanksgiving.
Go Huskers and I can start to taste the Boulevard already ...
