After six weeks, the basement has been transformed from nothing into a completely finished and usable space. I dub it the "baby cave" as the main reason for finishing the space is to let H just roam around as much as possible down there now that he's more mobile.

Eventually we'll drop in a bar and some entertainment, but for now it's a nice shell where he can go wild. Blowup air mattress is still down from when my parents visited, so if people want to visit/crash and have their own space, we have it now.
