In early November, yeah I haven't posted in a while, I went down to experience the ESPN College GameDay in Alabama. It's been a while since I've been able to watch the #1 ranked team in the country in person.

I was on a team last year that won the 3rd annual Hackathon at work and the prize was a trip to a CGD of our choosing ... plus a guest.

Christi declined so that Ponec and I could have a guys weekend in the south. I've been to some big time programs before, but never seen tailgating like they do in SEC country. Amazingly it's all in tents out on the green on campus and nothing is done out of a car.

After weeks of plotting/planning on where we thought they would go each week (CGD is only selected 6 days in advance), we really couldn't pass up a trip to see LSU and 'Bama square off. Being down there for a full weekend, this commercial has never rung so true.
