Bucket list: check.

ESPN had a day blocked off at TPC River Highlands, where they hold the Travelers Championship, for employees to go out and hack up the course a few weeks before the pros show up in CT. I've never played on a professional course before, so I really couldn't afford to pass up the opportunity. After starting on the back and slugging my way through some bad holes, I finally ended up on the 8th tee box, my 17th hole of the day. A 194 yard par 3 where I stuck my 6 iron about 10' from the flag and then knocked in a putt. Outside of the only hole I'll ever talk about moving forward on that course, I ended up with a 103, no pars and a birdie on the day.

Let's just say I'll be watching the tournament this year and feeling just a little better each time I see a pro make par or worse on #8.
