We had our first fall ball game last night at Hickman. It was quite the experience. During our game, there must've been around 20 trains that drove by, and when we were done, a train sat on the tracks for around 40 minutes. We squared off against Greg's Black team, and had it tied at 2 through 7, so we went to extra innings. With one out in the 8^th, I lined a hit to right center that made it to the wall. Unfortunately, I was stranded there, and the Black team scored on our 2 out throwing error in the bottom half of the 8^th. All in all, it was a good game though, and I felt as if I hadn't lost my swing since the 'Hurst finished up our games this summer. Final stat line:
1-3, double. Not too bad for the first game. Hopefully I can improve next week.
